This is a testament to the importance and great value FHV brings to the food and hotel industry of Vietnam, and cements its place as the premier gateway for international companies looking to enter the local market.

Exhibitor Sentiments at FHV2013
Sunshine Equipment, a local distributor of international food service equipment brands is an example of an exhibitor that saw consistent success over multiple editions of FHV. “We have exhibited at FHV since we started our company in 2009, and our product range has grown in tandem with the event. Once again we had a great show! Exhibiting at FHV allows us to display a wide range of products from across Europe, USA and Asia, and this gives potential clients confidence in us. Over three days, we managed to secure over USD$300,000 in deals!” said its Managing Partner Ms. Chau Tieu Ngoc.
FHV also set a record of 19 group pavilions from 14 countries/regions. Covering four continents, the pavilions included from Europe – Belgium, Bulgaria, the European Union (EU), France and Germany; from North America – USA; from South America – Argentina; from Asia – Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan (F&B), Turkey; and Australia.
Making its first foray into Vietnam as part of the EU pavilion is ENOFORUM, one of Portugal’s biggest wine producers. Its General Manger, Mr. Delfim Costa said, “We currently export to 31 countries, with China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan and Singapore making up our Asian markets. We have identified Southeast Asia as a strategic geographical location from which to grow our business and the developing consumer tastes for wine in Vietnam makes FHV an ideal platform to get first-hand feedback on the industry’s reaction to our products. We had a great show and made valuable business contacts with five to six potential importers and distributors.”
Mr. Tee Boon Teong, Chief Representative, Singapore Exhibition Services‘s Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, organisers of FHV2013 said, “The food and hospitality industry in Vietnam is evolving as consumers are developing a more sophisticated and discerning palate. FHV as a sourcing platform provides the opportunity for local businesses to seek out foreign producers and suppliers to cater to the changing taste of local consumers. We are thrilled with the feedback we have received and look forward to making FHV2015 an even bigger success!”
